7月13日，2027年世界棒球12强赛资格赛（中山赛区）新闻发布会在广东中山举行。这是该项国际顶级赛事首次落户中国内地，也是中国棒球依托主场冲击12强赛正赛的重要机遇。

本次中山资格赛将于2026年11月26日至29日在广东中山国际棒垒球中心举行，中国、捷克、尼加拉瓜和英国，四支球队将展开6场激烈角逐。

世界棒球12强赛创立于2015年，是世界棒垒球总会WBSC的旗舰赛事，每四年举办一届，与世界棒球经典赛WBC和奥运会棒球项目并称世界棒球三大顶级赛事。

门票将于8月18日起在大麦网正式发售。

World-Class Baseball Event Coming to Zhongshan

On July 13, the press conference for the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) Premier12 2027 Zhongshan Qualifier was held in Zhongshan, Guangdong. It marks the first time this top-tier international baseball event has been hosted in Chinese mainland, and presents Team China with a crucial opportunity to secure a place in the Premier12 with home field advantage.

The Zhongshan Qualifier will be held at the Guangdong Zhongshan International Baseball & Softball Center from November 26 to 29, 2026. Four teams from China, the Czech Republic, Nicaragua and the United Kingdom will battle it out in six exciting matches.

First launched in 2015, the WBSC Premier12 is the flagship tournament of WBSC. Held every four years, it is regarded as one of the world's top three baseball events, alongside the World Baseball Classic (WBC) and Olympic baseball tournament.

Official ticket sales will begin on Damai.cn on August 18.
