孙文西路步行街作为中山城市记忆的载体、中山人的精神家园，是中山的商业集散地，承载了好几代中山人的记忆与乡愁。但是，随着时间的推移，街区存在的问题日益显现。今年，中山对孙文西路步行街实施科学合理的保护活化。经过一些列活化改造，今年8月10日晚，位于中山石岐街道孙文西路步行街的香山剧场正式亮灯启用。通过定期举办各类文化活动，让“生活着的古城”更加充满魅力和活力。

The Sunwen West Road pedestrian street stands as the carrier of urban memory and the spiritual homeland of local people. It is a business hub in Zhongshan that embodies the cherished memories and nostalgia of generations of Zhongshan people. However, as time goes on, the problems existing in the block are becoming increasingly obvious. This year, Zhongshan launched a protection and revitalization scheme for the Sunwen West Road pedestrian street, and after a series of renovation, on the evening of August 10, the Xiangshan Theater was officially put into use. By hosting regular cultural events, it makes the ancient city more charming and dynamic.

随着石岐街道启动香山古城保护活化工程项目(二期)——孙文中路片区改造提升工程。孙文中路沿路两侧建筑外立面进行翻新改造，两侧人行道进行修复，曾经香山古城范围在不失原有味道的同时，实现城乡风貌和品质大跃升。焕发出新鲜的活力！

As the protection and revitalization scheme progresses, the once-thriving “Xiangshan Ancient City” has been rejuvenated while preserving its authentic charm, with the facades of buildings along Sunwen Middle Road renovated and the sidewalks repaired.
