当劳有个朋友的签证快要到期了，但他还想在中国待久一点，外籍人士该如何延长签证停留期限呢？中山市海外传播中心的AI主播Alan告诉当劳，根据相关法律规定，需要延长签证停留期限的，应当在签证注明的停留期限届满7日前向停留地县级以上地方人民政府公安机关出入境管理机构申请，按照要求提交申请事由的相关材料。有以下这些情况，公安机关出入境管理机构将不予批准签证和居留证件的延期、换发、补发，不予签发停留证件。

AI主播Alan说道：“当劳，如果你的朋友打算继续在国内逗留一段时间，建议提前了解是否满足续期的要求哦！一定要记得提前带好有效证件、材料到出入境管理局办理延期续签手续，如果不能续签，最好在有效期前离境。以免出现超期逾期的情况，影响以后来华签证的申请。”
