For two consecutive years, Zhongshan City has released the "Zhongshan City Basic Elderly Care Service List", which has detailed 34 basic elderly care service items on the national and provincial basis. It has established a three-tier home-based community elderly care service network of "city + town (street) + village (community)", with 305 elderly care service centers (stations) completed, providing senior citizens with “one-stop services” such as full-time care, day care, meal assistance, healthcare and rehabilitation, and home-based domestic services. The “15-minute elderly care service circle” has basically taken shape.

连续两年，中山市发布《中山市基本养老服务清单》，在国家、省基础上，细化设置了34项基本养老服务项目。构建“市+镇（街道）+村（社区）”三级居家社区养老服务网络，建成养老服务中心（站）305个，为老年人提供全托、日托、助餐、保健康复、上门家政等“一站式服务”，“15分钟养老服务圈”基本形成。

The Xiangshan Elderly Dining Hall has gained widespread public recognition. Currently, it has been reported that 79 dining halls have been built throughout the city, integrating on-site meal preparation, dining, and delivery services. Additionally, 177 meal assistance spots have been set up in some villages (communities), ensuring full coverage of elderly meal assistance services in the city's rural areas.

香山长者饭堂更是得到公众的广泛认可。据悉，目前全市已建成集现场制餐、堂食及外送等功能为一体的长者饭堂79家，遍布村（社区）“家门口”的助餐点177家，实现全市村居老年助餐服务全覆盖。

Some towns have expanded the scope of welfare programs. For example, in West District, Zhongshan City, elderly people aged 60 and above from Hong Kong and Macao who have resided in West District for over six months can also acquire the subsidies for the elderly dining halls.

一些镇区更是在原有方案基础上扩大福利范围。如中山市西区街道，将长期居住在西区街道（居住期超半年）的60岁及以上港澳籍老年人也纳入长者饭堂补助范畴。
