2024 marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Brazil. As the largest economy and populous country in Latin America, Brazil stands as an important partner in the Belt and Road Initiative. On 29 May 2024, Zhongshan and Águas Lindas, two cities from these two countries, signed the Memorandum of Understanding on International Trade Corridor to establish a demonstration platform authorized by the two governments. This can enhance the efficiency of Chinese enterprises’ market entry into Brazil, and the economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.

2024年正值中国与巴西建交50周年，巴西作为南美洲最大的经济体和人口大国，是中国“一带一路”重要合作伙伴。2024年5月29日，中山市与巴西戈亚斯州阿瓜斯林达斯市签署国际贸易快捷通道备忘录，共同推动建立具有政府公信力的国际贸易快捷通道示范平台，帮助中国企业更好地开拓巴西市场，助力两国经贸合作。

Zhongshan has established trading contacts with more than 230 countries and regions. In recent years, Zhongshan has been expanding its business collaboration with Brazil. The gross import and export value to Brazil has been around 5 billion yuan annually in the past 3 years.The total import and export value to Brazil is approximately 2 billion yuan from January to April 2024, marking a 78% year-on-year growth.

根据介绍，中山与230多个国家和地区建立了贸易往来。近年来，中山不断加大与巴西的经贸交流合作，对巴西的进出口总值三年来每年均在50亿元左右，2024年1-4月进出口总值近20亿元，同比增长78%。
